Client Care, Web Portal & Reports Every client is unique. We take care of ours with a team of Client Relations Specialists. Our clients have a consolidated point of control, responsible for daily service, account oversight, personal meetings, report development and interpretation, and documentation education.

Credentialing & Enrollment

Secure Client Web Portal Quick and convenient access to the most important information for your account. From comprehensive reports, and trending graphs, to service rates, contact information, industry forms, and more.

Custom Reporting

Cornerstone manages all aspects of provider credentialing, from initial enrollment, to revalidations, to ongoing updates. We do not charge extra for this (though the government may, e.g. revalidations).

Weekly settlement reports reflect every transaction, providing full transparency from payments to charges, contractual allowances and write-offs. Custom reports can be created by our in-house report writers.

No Hidden Fees, Just Features There are no startup fees, and nothing gets passed on. We absorb fees related to credit card payments, insufficient funds, ACH transactions, and more. We even handle refunds, expediting claims adjudication. Our approach is to keep it simple – you supply the documentation, we handle the rest.

Our proprietary ePCR interface can receive data from all leading NEMSIS-compliant software vendors, and provide clients with user-friendly confirmation reports attesting to which trips were received. We can even send alerts when no trips are received.

Data Scrubbing & Claims Coding A claim begins its life as a Patient Care Report, and may take a number of routes on its way to payment.

PCR & Document Management Incoming documentation is organized and routed, including data from clients, mail from insurers, electronic downloads from clearinghouses, payments from patients, and more. Data Scrubbing & Insurance Verification PCRs are vetted for demographics and insurance accuracy. Items in need of development are scrubbed against discovery databases to identify applicable information. Claims Coding PCRs ready for coding are personally reviewed by Certified Ambulance Coders, who translate documentation into the most appropriate ICD-10 codes. Evaluation & Resolution PCRs lacking in clarity or with problematic gaps in continuity or logic that prevent coding are routed to Client Relations for direct evaluation and resolution with client.

Revenue Assurance To maximize revenue, we manage denials and appeals for our clients, deploying payer-specific strategies to identify emerging payer trends and exhaust all available resources prior to account closure.

Medicare/Medicaid Entitlement programs with specific procedures and defined channels for adjudication. Administered by Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and at the state level. Commercial A broad range of products, policies and patient-specific coverage plans. May involve patients receiving checks, or insurances making partial payments, increasing patient interaction. Facility Extensive education of facility front line and accounts receivable personnel on Prospective Payment System, tailored invoicing models, with a focus on streamlined communications to reduce processing delays. Private/Self-Pay Consistent outreach to optimize patient awareness through multi- faceted approach of mailing, calling, and personalized account strategies. Emphasis on payment plans, with hardship consideration.
